yes i started volenteering at a local no kill shelter when i was 11
ASPCA has a lot of volunteer work. So does Petsmart. If Michigan has those places that is. Or you can check out any local vet's clinic. That's what I did before I was able to get a job; volunteer work with animals.
It all depends how old you are. Unfortunatly if you are under 16 you cant do proper volunteering but you can donate or do something with your school. If you are 16 or older you could help at a local animal shelter or do a sponsored run.
A cub
A newborn or very young animal that is not able to care for itself without assistance from its parent or a caregiver.
A young Goat is called a kid
Many animal shelters welcome young volunteers, but age requirements can vary by location. Some shelters may allow 8-year-olds to volunteer with parental supervision or in specific roles, such as helping with events or fundraising. It's best to check with the local animal shelter for their specific policies and opportunities for young volunteers.
Well, most shelters require you to be 16 years of age to volunteer. I am a couple of years older, and have tried to volunteer, but have been told that I was to young. But, all the shelters have told me, if my mum or dad worked with me, i would be allowed. HOPE THIS HELPED!
They could get up off their tuffs and go to the shelter and ask instead of posting the question to the web for others to find out. Kids today need to stop being lazy!!!! Ignore people like this who probably never helped a soul in their lives! Go to your local nursing home, animal shelter, zoo, vet, or any business you are interested in and volunteer your time. They will be happy for the free help and you will learn more about something you are interested in.
14 young people aged 14-15 can volunteer with sports clubs

In Georgia, a 14-year-old can volunteer at various organizations such as animal shelters, community centers, and food banks. Many local libraries and hospitals also offer volunteer opportunities for teens. It's important for young volunteers to check age requirements and parental consent policies, as they can vary by organization. Websites like VolunteerMatch can help find suitable opportunities in their area.
The list below names some bad things about animal shelters: 1. The animals have had a bad experience will people; they are likely to have a bad temper. 2. Most animal shelters will kill more than 90% of the animals they keep. 3. Some animal shelters may kill animals that they have kept for 7 or 14 days. 4. You never know what you are buying from an animal shelter, as you may have seen the animal only on a poster that people have made to look attractive. 5. Some animal shelters may not try their hardest to sell animals, and therefore kill most of them. 6. Some animal shelters may use a toxic gas to suffocate the animals that they want to kill (as opposed to euthanasia). 7. Not all animal shelters will accept every animal that is offered to them, therefore not doing their job of saving animals and rather killing them. 8. Some animal shelters will even kill very young animals (puppies, kittens, etc.). 9. You don't know where animals from animal shelters have come from. Most of the animals have been found on the streets. Remember that you should always buy dogs from breeders. It is exceptional to buy birds, reptiles, rabbits, and cats from pet stores, but you never know where a dog from a pet store came from (shelter, puppy mill, etc.). Remember that breeders are always the best! I hope this helps, and that people will find a good alternative to animal shelters!
- You can also volunteer at hospitals, schools, after school programs, parks, offices, salons, pet shops, etc.
Horse rescues are always glad for volunteers, but the fragile state of mind of some horses means that not everyone is suited to be around them. Volunteer to groom the horses who are ready to be adopted. When you're able to handle other horses, I'm sure they'll let you know.
Call the shelter and ask, but I think 9 is a bit young.
They could be a waterboy. Or if its baseball a bat boy.
yes because it give them a sense of accomplishment in life
