Waste products means it now useless, and remaining their will make you sick. But actually not all waste product is not totally "WASTE", C02 when mixed into red blood cell will become bicarbonate--which is also a buffer. Urine, and sweat releases urea--which contains nitrogenous products (I assume you already knew why about nitrogen). Concise explanation. Look for encarta or other books to see why we must elmnate

Depends on whats being excreted but usually has a core function. To get red of unwanted or needed " something " whether its nasal discharge to using the restroom. It's your body's way of ridding itself of whatever it has collected and won't use or need or decides that it is harmful to it.

as u say the waste products i.e. the things which are not needed any more in the body or which are toxic to the body have to eliminate so all living beings including animals excrete waste products
