Some species of animals depend its' energy source from hydrothermal vent in deep sea thus not all animal depend on the sun for energy.
It is that life evolve and adapt to the available energy source in its' environment. Sun the the most robust and widely available on the globe so most species would evolve and adapt to use sun as energy source but not necessary all.
animals are just like humans. we all need sunlight to get a very useful vitamin. It is called vitamin E. Vitamin E helps our liver and lungs, which are very important to the body in order to survive. It is the same with animals. They need the sunlight to help there lungs and liver in order for them to survive. Atleast to survive longer than they would without it. Also, without sunlight, plants would not grow, so herbavours would die off, which then carnivours would have no food either.
The body can't synthesise Vitamin D without it. Without Vitamin D, we all die of malnutrition. It can't just be absorbed from food grown in the ground.
People need sunlight to obtain bodily temperature, and to absorb vitamin D
The sun is the primary energy source for plants, so it's the beginning of the food chain.
Because if we want something new we can't make any changes
Yeah
Look at it this way:-All life needs energy, to grow, move, reproduce etc.The source of this energy is the light from our local star (the Sun).Animals can not make thir own food or use of sunlight directly - they obtain the energy they need by eating plants or other animals that eat plants. Animals are consumers.Plants however can make direct use of sunlight, their green leaves trap the sunlight and store the energy of the sunlight as chemical energy in sugars which they produce. Plants are therefore called producers. Thus as you can see plants form the basis of the energy supply for all animals.
Animals depend on plants because plants are the primary producers of food. All the food available on earth is indirectly derived from plants. Plants are the only living beings that can convert inorganic molecules into important carbon compounds. It is these compounds that are further broken down inside the body of secondary and tertiary consumers to obtain energy. We term the sources of energy as food. Besides food, plants invariably purify the atmosphere by releasing oxygen- the indispensable component of respiration.
Animals and plants are codependent upon on another for several reasons. Namely, animals depend on plants for nourishment while plants depend on animals for fertilizer.
plants depend on animals for pollination and seed dispersal.insectivorous plants depend on insects for their food.
Because the heavier an object is, the more force is required to lift it off the ground. So, by having light bodies, animals that can fly reduce the amount of energy they need to use to be able to fly.
Animals depend on plants for food and the reason for this is so animals can get the energy they store from the sun into their own bodies. They also depend on plants because plant's are autotrophs ( make their own food) by using and storing the sun's energy, so because us animals are hetrotrophs ( can't make our own food :S) we depend on the energy the plants have stored from the sun light.
Animals depend on food for energy, energy gives them the ability to move, grow, and reproduce.

Carnivores depend on other animals for matter and energy.
Animals only depend on plants if they are herbavores and if they do depend on plants they eat them to get the energy the plants make from sunlight using photosyntheses.
All living things depend on energy from the sun. Even though animals get their energy from either plants or from animals that eat plants, those plants get their energy from the sun, so it all comes back to the sun.
Heterotrophs
Plants get their energy from the sun. They use the light from the sun in a process called photosynthesis. Animals get their energy from the consumption of food.
To carry out photosynthesis.Every and each animal depend on this energy
Animals get all the energy they need from the food they eat.
yes animals depend on plants for shelter. The plants depend on a variety of animals for pollination, seed dispersal. Sunlight is needed by both plants as well as animals.
