It would be much easier to think of it as a human. For example, bullies bully other people, but only if they're smaller than them. They wouldn't fight back if someone was bigger than them. Same goes for animals. A lion will eat a deer, because that animal is smaller then the animal itself. You don't see a lion trying to eat an elephant.
