Not all cats dislike water. Some cats prefer not to get wet, and others enjoy bathing or drinking water. It all depends on what cat you have, and what type of cat it is.
Some cat breeds actually enjoy water or individual cats like it. I think it's because they don't want to get their belly fur/belly wet.
Well cats like fish because they like meat, they are carnivores! But they don't like water because they feel cold.
Cats are more like cats.
They should be given a fresh bowl of water daily. Cows' milk is actually hard for cats to digest and can cause diarrhea in cats.
Cats usually contracts urinary infections from not drinking enough water and the urine becomes too concentrated. This can occur if the cat is fed only dry food, as cats have evolved to derive water from its prey/food, so will not often drink from a bowl like a dog readily does. Pet cats, like their wild ancestors and cousins, are still designed to get their moisture from their food. Cats naturally have a low "thirst drive" and will not often seek out water on their own unless severely dehydrated. Aside from food, some cats can contract a UTI from being overly stressed.
Turkish Van cats like water, so not all cats hate water.
like any other cats they do not like water but there is a species of cats called a Devon rex who does like to play in water.
It's not true that cats don't like water. They just don't like being forced into it.
