Some farmers may refer to them as Brood Cows.
The place where cows are milked is called a milking parlor or a milking shed. This is where farmers can safely and efficiently extract milk from the cows.
Cattleman or cattlewoman. Not farmer because not all farmers have cows, and it wouldn't be "producer" either because we're talking about someone who works with cows, not owns them.
Let x be the number of cows in the herd. Since each cow has 4 legs and 2 eyes, there are 4x legs and 2x eyes in total. Given that there are 84 more legs than eyes, we have 4x = 2x + 84. Solving this equation gives x = 42, so there are 42 cows in the herd.
pretty much every country that has farmers.!!

Farmers and ranchers often feed the cows. However cows are able to feed themselves when they're out grazing on pasture.

So the farmers can find them again. In the spring, after the snow melts, the cows are herded up into the mountains and feed on the mountain meadow grass all summer. This land is all 'common land' (owned by the village) and all the farmers send their cows to the villages land. In Autumn, the farmers have to get the cows back down to the valley before the snow starts. The bells allow the farmers to find the cows even if they are out of sight behind a rock, in a small valley or wherever.

Don't start blaming the farmers! It's the MEAT PACKERS that determine the way cows are killed for beef. So no, it is not the farmers that are changing their ways: it's the slaughter plants that are (presumably) changing the ways cows are killed, though I don't see what their changing in the first place.
