My rabbit did that frequently. It doesn't mean anything bad, infact it's a good thing. When your rabbit does that, it helps to grind down their teeth so the bottom teeth don't curl up in the the roof of their mouth. It doesn't mean they want out or anything, although that's not a bad thing to let them get excersise. Don't stop your rabbit from doing that but I would suggest buying it wood sticks to chew on.
