People dislike dogs because they may have had an incident in the past. It is kind of like the way most people dislike bugs.Thats true but they also may be allergic, or just have a bad relationship with them!

There's no real reason to hate dogs. Since there aren't really too many stereotypes on dogs as there are on cats, most people hate dogs because, as said above, they once had a really bad experience with them. I know someone who was attacked by a dog once and was afraid for the rest of her life. Throughout the rest of their life, the many WILD dogs she came across could smell her fear. Oh dear.

Some people think all dogs are vicious and growling, but I see no reason to think that. Although perhaps it is true that a very excited cat doesn't really do quite as much damage as a very excited dog (oh dear), that is no real reason to hate them. When you get a pet, you have to be willing to pay for the damage- and believe me, whether it be bird or hamster or dog, there will be plenty of damage.
