Cats are much easier to look after than dogs. You don't have to worry about them going to the bathroom on the floor and they are very quiet and never disturb you with noise. They are the perfect companions for cuddling up with on a cold night and can be very sweet around humans.

∙ 14y agoPeople own cats because they make great friends. Even though they are more independent than dogs, they still make great social companions. Cats also don't need to be walked, which means if the owner doesn't have time, or if they work all day, than the cat is the perfect pet. Cats are affectionate and like to be patted and fed. Treating the pet cat the right way will improve the bond between the owner and cat.
