We humans overfish, pollute and kill off endangered species. It's important to remember that storms, such as tsunamis, are uncontrollable natural forces but they can seriously damage coral reefs- breaking the coral, drowning plants and animals ( which sounds weird considering they live in the ocean!). The imbalance of nutrients can damage the food web and kill off certain species.

Overfishing depletes fish populations faster than they can reproduce, leading to a decline in biodiversity and disruption of marine ecosystems. This can result in the collapse of fisheries, threatening livelihoods for communities that depend on fishing for food and income. Additionally, overfishing can negatively impact the balance of marine life, leading to further ecological consequences. Sustainable fishing practices are essential to ensure that fish populations remain healthy and ecosystems thrive.
