Why do you think some animals have longer life spans than others?

because they are more smart when they get older and they should know everything that they need to know to survive. The other animals probaly didnt learn or get taught by their mother or their father. Some animals have bad homes and they don't get trained when they are youth stage. Some animals are really stupid and they don't know what to do and they have a blank mind because people who own them don't train them so they don't really know much of anything.

Well, some animals, like turtles, can live very long! Yes, they move slow, like snails, but they save energy throughout their entire lives! In Finding Nemo, a turtle was about 150 years old, and his son was about 100 years old. The son went to school sith Nemo, I think. So slow animals, also like sloths, live longer than many others no matter how slow the can run.

For example: A Mouse can out live and Elephant depending on the factors surrounding that animals habitat and health. But generally a mouse is not going to outlive a Elephant.
