The gallbladder is hard to find in a frog because it is located behind the liver and the lungs, more near the dorsal side of the frog making it hard for us to find it viewing it from the ventral side of the frog.
It is similar to the function of the gall bladder of a human. They both are used to store the bile, a digestive juice, that is created by the liver. When needed for digestion, the gall bladder secretes a small amount to aid in the breaking down of the food (specifically the emulsification of fats).
The size of the frog's stomach depends on how big the frog is. Bigger frogs tend to have bigger stomachs.
The inside of a frog's stomach has hard ridges. These hard ridges help mix the food with the digestive fluids when the stomach muscles churn the contents. The shape of these hard ridges is actually the shape of frog's stomach.
If the skin is smooth it is probably a frog. Also, it will have big hind legs. Toads have bumpy skin and a more squat body. Toads are more common, so if you find a questionable speciman tht might be a frog or toad, it's probably a toad.
I should think so? most proberly
It's in the right side of the frog.
bile
under the liver
Digestive system
i just dissected a frog and the gall bladder is green and looks like a pea but depending on the size and type of frog they can be different shades of green and different sizes
The frog gallbladder stores bile produced by the liver. Bile is a fluid that aids in digestion by emulsifying fats and helping in their absorption in the small intestine.
Greenish i think
gallbladder
A couple of organs are located underneath the liver of a frog including the lungs, fat bodies, gull bladder, stomach, intestines, and depending on the gender, the eggs.
Gallbladder
An earthworm does not have a liver, it also does not have a gallbladder.
It stores a substance called bile. This is secreted by the liver and stored until needed in the intestines for digestion.Bile aids mainly in the digestion of fats by helping to emulsify them. The gall bladder concentrates bile produced by the liver.breaks down oil and fats in food to asorb nutrients and vitmainsA frog's gall bladder stores bile. The frog's gall bladder is a small sac under the liver and can be hard to find during dissection.
