lizards excrete uric acid for the following reasons ; first we have to know that lizards belong to class reptilia hence these organisms live in nearly dry areas,as we know uric acid is insoluble in water and does not need a lot of water to excrete it,due to the fact that its less toxic compared to ammonia then and it does not need a lot of water then its good as a excretory material for lizards
