Penguins do not make good pets because they are expensive to have ($10,000 per penguin not including the $50,000 for a proper environment) they are not domesticated and cannot be domesticated. They bite and are super social so you would have to double the price and buy a whole other penguin. So basiclly you'd be buying an undomesticated and expensive little animal. Not to mention the water bill ;)
Yes. They're small enough to even make good house-pets. However you may have to check with local laws on such animals because pigs, regardless of breed, are considered "livestock," not "pets" or "companion animals."
Penguins are not suitable pets due to their specific habitat and dietary needs, which are challenging to replicate in a home environment. They require cold temperatures, ample space for swimming, and a diet primarily composed of fish and other marine life. Additionally, penguins are social animals that thrive in large colonies, making solitary living conditions stressful for them. Furthermore, legal restrictions often prohibit keeping penguins as pets, as they are considered wildlife that should remain in their natural habitats or specialized sanctuaries.
