If you are at all interestd in birds, wetlands are among the best places to visit. You are likely to see lots of waterfowl, waders and sea birds, and probably also other birds such as raptors.
Such migratory birds are commonly know as summer visitors. In Britain, swallows, swifts, and house martins are just three examples.
