because is scary and my mommy said they are.
Because dogs' hearing it 10x as good as human hearing so the thunder is louder to them than it is to us. The thunder hurts their ears and lighting scares everything. It even scares rocks.
We used to laugh at my mini dachshund. I live in the Pacific NW and when the rain started in October we knew he would try to hold his bladder until June.
I made a little pen out of garden Fencing and put a tarp on it. At first I had the pen at the end of my patio. I didn't care if he pottied on the patio. It was definitely better than the carpet or hardwood floors. I also put his coat on him so he was comfortable.
I put him in the pen and went back into the house and peeked through the window. That way I wasn't distracting him and he couldn't try to train me to pick him up and bring him in before he was ready.
Once he knew to potty in the pen, I gradually moved it to a bark-chipped area. He hated the wet cold grass also. I figured if he could potty outside for me, I could give him a comfortable area to potty in. Didn't take him long to figure out that if he emptied himself, we would come "rescue" him and let him in the house and give him a treat. Soon he emptied himself as soon as he got in the pen.
yes, most dog's do. But it's best if you give them baths when their puppys. So when that get bigger they are already use to it. They get cold at first but then get used to it
I believe it's because it's so much that it confuses them, and the fact that it's hitting them in the face. Just my opinion.
yes, they can hear it miles away, especially thunder and winds
Because dogs don't like the loud thunder
No, cats are.
give him an umbrella
your dog might shake a lot because it has flea's i recommend that you should take your dog to there veterinarian it will make them a lot happier :-) hope this helps
I would take to a vet right away or you wont have a dog
your dog might not go to sllep until your asleep because he might not know how important it is. when you fall asleep he knows it is important because you did it. (and he might think it is a trick and get a goody for it)
Staffordshire Bull Terriers are a hardy breed but have a short coat that does not protect them well from very cold weather. Some dogs don't like rain (my Staffy doesn't) but this is different with every dog. As long as your dog isn't too cold they can go out in most weather.
If you dog is not eating, something is wrong, please go to the vet
try training your dog with treats or chicken. run with your dog around the obstacles. also give your dog lots of love
we wont get food
You have an umbrella.
depends on the dog breed. with like boxer or pitbull, once they bite, they probally wont let go. but with a small dog, itll probally be eaiser.
No, go to Petsmart or Petco, they have a gravy made for this problem
Maybe it's spoiled.
it wont get wrecked at all!

When people go to Nigeria, they want to see the red eared dog, only seen there.
Keep a picture or something that belonged to your dog and keep it near you you wont feel sad any More. Or you can just pretend your dog is still there and you wont feel sad.
