Why would a Pug's tail uncurl for shor periods of time?

Many times an uncurled tail means they are having some sort of discomfort/pain. It is possible to hurt the muscle that keeps it curled, but more often the uncurled tails a sign of something else.

It can also be a sign the pug is scared or unhappy if their tail is uncurled. Just like when other types of dogs put their tails between their legs - - uncurling the tail is the pug version of that.

Another reason a pug's tail is uncurl is they may have lost or someone. An could be if your pug had another animal friend and the happen to die or run away this may cause a pug to lose their curly tail. or if there master leaves them for a period of time.
