The answer to the question is, it depends. If you are talking about housecats, yes. If you are talking about larger cats like cougars or lions, etc, it might, but probably won't.
Additional info: If you are thinking about shooting cats in your back yard or something, it's probably illegal (depends on where you are).
Shooting any animal should be done ethically and responsibly. For jackrabbits, it's important to use a firearm that is appropriate for hunting, such as a .22 caliber rifle. Aim for a vital area like the head or chest to ensure a quick and humane kill. It's also crucial to have the necessary permits and follow local hunting regulations.
Yes. Just did it
Normally a 600-700 fps air rifle will kill a rabbit at around 30-40 yards away. So this will include a .22 caliber air rifle or if your looking for something with less power that will just kill birds, try looking for a .177 or .20 caliber air rifle but if you are looking to hunt game like rabbits go for .22
Purely my opinion. The cheapest and most widely available ammo is likely .223. The flattest shooting, but smallest bullet, is the .204. Next is the 22-250. However, ANY of the 3 are more than aqequate for coyotes. Rather than focus purely on caliber, find the RIFLE you like best first.

It will kill someone
A 22 caliber bullet is 22/100 inches in diameter. A 7.62 mm bullet is 30 caliber or 30/100 inches in diameter there is no such thing as a 7.62 caliber bullet
The .22 caliber bullet is ABOUT .22 inches wide. A .32 bullet is about .32 inches wide. The bullet will also be heavier due to size.
NO!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS!!!
The .22 bullet is smaller than the 9mm in size, (about 6mm) and is lighter in weight.
A rifle that shoots a .22 caliber bullet.
not much
The diameter of a .22 caliber bullet is approximately 0.22 inches, which is equivalent to about 5.56 millimeters. This measurement refers to the bullet itself, while the term ".22 caliber" typically encompasses various types of ammunition, including .22 Long Rifle, .22 Short, and .22 Magnum, all of which have similar bullet diameters.
It is possible.
as far as it wants
It is a bullet for a .22 caliber rifle which is very quiet as the bullet travels slower than the speed of sound
