Killer Bees or Africanized Bees are more sensitive to cold weather because they need more food to keep the hive alive during winter. This means they have a hard time competing against the European Honey Bees that beekeepers in North America keep. Africanized Bees are expected to eventually migrate to the Chesapeake Bay area, but not further north. However, by the time they do arrive, it is likely that they will have interbred with the local bee populations so much they they are not likely to be as agressive/defensive as they have behaved in their migration across the south-west.
Not all Africanized hives are defensive; some are quite gentle, which gives a beginning point for beekeepers to breed a gentler stock. This has been done in Brazil, where bee incidents are much less common than they were during the first wave of the Africanized bees' colonization. Now that the Africanized bee has been "re-domesticated," it is considered the bee of choice for beekeeping in Brazil.
It's unlikely that killer bees will reach New York, as they primarily exist in warmer climates closer to the equator. Their spread is closely monitored, and efforts are in place to prevent them from moving into temperate regions like New York.
yeah year wat ever this is werd how cool is this blabla
it was not really inveted. bees started to drink the pullen and they started makeing honey. and it was starting probably a little bit before the pioneers. cause pioneers had honey with bread for lunches sometimes. it is a pretty easy consupcion. just have to read about pioneers.Actually bees don't drink pollen they drink nectar from the flowers. Pollen sticks to their legs and bodies as they get into the flowers.I think bees were around a long time before pioneers and bees have been making honey ever since there were bees. That's what they do!
Many people apparently attribute it to a 1928 song by Cole Porter called "Let's do it":And that's why birds do it, bees do itEven educated fleas do itLet's do it, let's fall in loveSee related link.
The senses of the Honey Bee include sight, taste, smell and touch. Honey Bees can smell very well. The kinds of smells a honey bee will react strongest to are actually pheromones. Pheromones often come from other bees like the queen, or drones but can also come from nearby plants that are flowering and pollinating. Bees can see, but not as well as we people do. Honey bees eyes' have developed differently than ours, so they see differently. Meaning they don't see all the same colors of the rainbow that we do, they see less. A honey bees sense of taste is much the same as ours is, that is they can differentiate between sweet, salty, sour and bitter. (We humans have four main tastes and two others: sweet, salty, sour, bitter, umami, and water (umami is a taste reminiscent of broths or MSG)). Honey bees sense of touch is a little different than ours too. They can feel vibrations in the air much better than we can. Ever tried licking your finger to tell the direction of the wind? How well does that work? Well a honey bee can tell the direction of the wind flow, if there's a big dangerous chainsaw nearby enough to cut down their tree, or if it's about to rain.

my sister recently ran over a large Gardener snake with the mower, ever since bees have been hovering around it Bees have probably started building a nest in it some where. Get some good bee killer spray Waite till after dark and spray all over it. Then wash it the next day that should take care of the bees . Good luck.
