If you believe so it will happen! If you don't it might happen! So.... YES!!When I was in High School our English Teacher mesmerized us with the quaint wife's tale of saying Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit! (always three times) at the first realization that it was the first day of a month. The tale promised Good Fortune to the Sayer and, in many ways, this is true. I must first off state my personal disclaimer: if there is no harm in doing a thing and only potentially good may come of it then prudence demands it be done for you have nothing to lose!

All said and done, saying Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit! has been a monthly ritual in my life for the past 21 years (including and since high school). And yes, it has brought me Good Fortune though maybe not in the traditional sense. The Good Fortune I experience monthly is:

1. The warm smile on my face as I remember first learning of the tale during High School English--a great time in my life.

2. The realization that it is a new month which causes me to reflect on the prior month--good and bad--and plan for the fresh start of this month.

3. Brings to forethought the Blessing afforded me to have this month, this day, this hour, this minute and this second...a RARE commodity not granted to all this fine day.

4. A treasured ritual to be observed monthly which provides me with a smile whose secret meaning only I understand.
