Depends on for how long you forgot about it, but eventually yes.
It is not recommended to feed chicks rice baby cereal as their nutritional requirements are different from human babies. Chicks require a balanced diet high in protein to support their growth and development. It is better to provide them with a chick starter feed specifically formulated for their needs.
They can eat medicated chick starter feed. That's what the feed store recommended, and my ginnies are growing and seem to be very healthy.
Organic feed can have no additives and should be made from ingredients that have not been grown with artificial fertilizers or any sort of pesticide. Medicated feed has had certain preventative medication added to the feed to keep the chicks or hens healthy. This medication is usually a general all purpose broad spectrum antibiotic. Not all un-medicated feed is truly "organic" and if this is important to you, you must make inquiries as to the source of the ingredients. True organic feed will be certified as organic, not just labeled "organic"
I have recently just hatched a dozen baby chicks. Agricultural stores usually sell a feed called start and grow. It looks like crumbs. If you can't find that you should feed them oatmeal, cracked corn, or wheat.
It's important to address why the hen is not eating; it could be due to illness, stress, or environmental factors. Try offering the hen some highly palatable and nutritious feed, such as mealworms or scrambled eggs. If she still refuses to eat, consider seeking advice from a veterinarian who specializes in poultry.
Take the chick over, take the feed over and bring the chick back with you. then take the fox and bring it over. then take the chick back over.

You have to feed pullets feed with the protein to lay a lot good big eggs.
So that the chick will live.
