straw because it keeps u warm and animals plus styrofoam is less stable.
Ill add more its really a no win situation. it depends on what you want or have. styrofoam padding will absorb heat and not cold to an extream extent, styrofoam blocks do not decay and are good at keeping inside tempetures in. as long as theres a source like a heatlamp, but most syrofoams are toxic and or a cat will more than likely chew on it and choke wither its toxic or not. straw is good because it is biologicle degrateable and cats can eat it more safely. keeps them warm but gets dirty really quick and can decay pretty fast if the shelter is open for the cats to go in or out and air will pass through more freely it will also attract other insects and animals like fleas are the worst, ants, snakes, possims, ect.... If you are making or have say like a cat house one with a door that air can pass through i think it would be best to insulate the inside with styrofoam block then covered again with a plywood so the syrofoam can not be easily gotten into and put a small low power heatlamp on a ext. cord with a safety cover so it has a heat source but will not catch he wood, cats, or styrofoam on fire this will reduce cost in a way kinda a one time fix unlike staw has to be replaced and mite get used as a litter box or home to other organisms
they are both equal. But indoor pets have a better life because they have food and shelter. But outdoor pets somtimes may not have food or water or shelter.
It's only been one hour since Willow the black lab mix.. ate a meat holder - those styrofoam things that come from the supermarket with meat on it. She is just lying around.. breathing labored... and eyes are tearing. I'm hoping she will feel better once it passes. She ate a bar of soap the other day.. you think she would learn?? oh well.. pray that she will be ok. she looks very sad at the moment.. just lying on the coach.. and lethargic.
No dog is hypoallergenic because all dogs shed. There are dogs that are better for people with allergies tough such as the Shih Tzu, the Maltese, the poodle, and the Lhasa Apso.
Nearly all. Lots of people want them. It is better to get them from a shelter though, since pet store puppies will always find a home, while the shelter may euthanize their animals when they get sick or are there too long without anyone adopting them.
many dogs live in a cage at the pound or if they have been bought hopefully in a cosy warm home like we live like some dogs get abboned but and don't get to go in a lovely cosy home they get put out in the streets left to starve and die so do dogs a favour and treat them better that's what i say hope that covers your answer
styrofoam. Because it has a plastic base
Styrofoam is a better insulator of heat than plastic. The plastic allows the heat in and out and the cold in and out. The Styrofoam helps keep the heat in.
no
cotton
saw dust is the better termal insulator
Yes
No, it's not
Putting the cup in the freezer keeps ice from melting. Those cups will slow down the melting rate, but if you've got ice at room temperature it's gonna melt eventually. Having said that, ice will melt slowest in a styrofoam cup.
It's a better insulator
No, it's not, though it's better than you might think if you equate polystyrene with Styrofoam. Styrofoam is made of polystyrene, but it's the trapped air that makes it such a good insulator.
they are both equal. But indoor pets have a better life because they have food and shelter. But outdoor pets somtimes may not have food or water or shelter.
No. If you can get it, vacuum is the best insulator.
