No,you see hamsters are nocturnal so that's normal my hamster does the same and hes a boy
If your hamster keeps falling on to one side there could be a varitey of things wrong with her, right know my hamster is dying, she is losing massive amounts of blood from her bottom and can't stand up, the loss of blood id making her week and she also keeps falling on her side, but she is old, shes 2, another thing that could be wrong if she is a young hamster is that she cold have something broken in her, I suggest taking her to see a vet. Well best luck to you hamster, I hope it turns out better than mine.
Hamsters will eat what ever you give it so if you give it a whole lot of food it will eat it all most likely.so if your hamster seems overweight try giving it a little less food or ask a local pet shop ( Petco,Pet Smart, etc.)Hmmm, well I have a answer to that 1. Your hamster may be storing food somewhere you can't see and so well that is kind off bad because hoarding is the name of what your hamster may be doing what I did was I took the food bowl out for a hour and put it back it if this isn't your answer then 2. Gif your hamster looks normal say not it might weight less and your hamster might be eating more to gain weight and that's completely normal ( except for the underweight part, if your hamster looks underweight then you can use a food weighter to see how much it weighs ) well I hope this helps - darkskygamerr
It's just the breed. All Hamsters need to sleep for a long time. I have a teddy bear hamster, and she is actually very active. Some hamsters though, do sleep a lot. They are nocturnal, so they sleep a lot during the day
I had this exact problem with my hamster, but mine was in a wire cage. Originally I took the wheel off at night time, so that it didn't wake me up, however after a time I realised this was pretty unfair on the hamster as hamsters are nocturnal, and so are most active at night. The hamster needs the exercise and so by taking the wheel of I was depriving it of that. In the end I decided to move the hamsters cage in the room next door and shut the door. It was much quieter, and didn't make much difference as I could always go next door to play with it. Its the best idea because then the hamster gets the exercise and you get the sleep. Everyone wins.
hamsters stuff their tube because it is making its nest all hamsters have a nest where they feel safe a. your hamster really feels safe in the tube and probably likes it alot there b. its his natural thing to do all rodents build some sort of nest or have a hole where they feel safe and sound/away from predators dont worry about this because mine did it too he always built it in his hamster wheel that was attached to the cage and when he ran in the wheel poop and nesting stuff went flying so i had to get a different cage
no it means hes lazy or likes to sleep
It depends. If a hamster is pregnant it will mostly sleep. It may seem to eat a lot, too! Hamsters will have there babies after usually 6 weeks!
Normally, bedding. They can sleep on or in bedding. But they do like to burry so you could get it paper shreddings
Yes. You should have it in the cage in addition to being in your bed while you sleep. ***** It is not a good idea to have a hamster in your bedroom: Hamsters are more active at night, so having the cage in your bedroom may mean a rather disturbed sleep (especially if it likes using a hamster wheel with a squeak!).
A hamster could be lazy during the day because all hamsters are nocturnal. That means they sleep during the day but are active at night.
She wil often sleep nearby and eat with the male. If she wants to mate she will make a gurggle-like noise.pet medical help hss member: by Olivia Rose

I'm sure you could, but if the hamster will actually go to the bathroom in it is questionable. In my opinion it will probably curl up in there and sleep in it. Just try it.
there is no specific time.
a hamster that matches your personality. for example if you want to hold it and pet it instead of just having it sleep all day, you would want a lively, healthy, happy one that likes to be awake when you are.
1.If you have a male and a female together of the same specie or a specie that can inter-breed with eachother. 2.She will get a bit more territorial and sleep alot more. Also, if you have waited 20 days, she is 99.99% not pregnant.
