You keep seeing these big really round looking bees that seem to hover in the air At first you thought they were humming birds but they look like bees They are about the size of a quarter What kind?

It may be what we call a Newsbee. It depends on if they are trying to sting you or if they are more interested in wood. A newsbee will fly around you for a couple of seconds and then fly away. They are very fat bees that look almost like a honeybee but a little bigger. If that is what you have don't worry about them stinging you because they have no stinger. However if you have wood around your house including a deck, they will "drill" holes in them for a nest. I hope that this helps.
