your rabbit is either pregnant or faking a pregnancy, usually called a "fake pregnancy"

When rabbits prepare for a pregnancy they usually make a nest and to pretend that they are they express the size of their stomach. If your rabbit begins to pee blood it may be pregnant and if it dosen't it is a false pregnancy.

To explain the growing of your rabbits nipples is because of the exaguration of her stomach. If you have any more questions please e mail me on wertinslipper@live.co.uk

Hope I explained it ok.

Female guinea pig you bought one male and one female rabbit to be its friend why doesnt the female rabbit like the female guinea pig?

Actually rabbits an guinea pigs are fine together. But maybe the female guinea pig is felling lonely being the only kind in the cage. Or maybe its because the rabbit just doesn't like the guinea pig. If it's possible you can try getting another female guinea pig or separating the the guinea pig and rabbits.

Why has the female rabbit become aggressive towards the male now that she might be pregnant?

If your female is an adult, it may not get along with a young rabbit. Do not just put a new rabbit in a cage with your old rabbit. Get both rabbits fixed first, to get rid of hormones that will make them aggresive and terratorial. To read more about bonding rabbits, and other rabbit information go to www.rabbitnetwork.org or www.rabbit.org/care/index.html if those link don't work, use copy and paste. The second site has tons of info. You can also ask questions about rabbit care to a person at a pet store, rabbit shelter, rabbit owner, or vetrinarian.

Will rabbits build nest if not pregnant?

Yes, male and female rabbits have nipples, although they may be hard to find because they're very small under the fur; the nipples of a nursing female rabbit will be much larger and easier to find. Another word for nipple is "teat" but this word is usually only used to refer to the nipples of a nursing mother.

Do female rabbits have nipples at 11 weeks old?

All rabbits, male and female, are born with nipples, but they're so small that you usually can't see them. If you can see your rabbit's nipples, that means she is pregnant or nursing; otherwise, it means the skin is irritated. If the irritation doesn't go away within a few days, you should go to the vet. See the related question below for details.

Do male rabbits have nipples?

This topic is much debated. Even people who've had personal experience with rabbits - bunny owners, breeders, vets - disagree about whether male rabbits do or don't have nipples.DiscussionYes, male rabbits, like all male mammals, do have nipples. Not even all female mammals have nipples. Rats, horses, mice are mammals in which the male has no nipples. There seems to be much contradictory information on whether or not male rabbits have nipples. My male rabbit does not appear to have nipples.Yes, male rabbits have nipples, just as human males have nipples (same as human females). A buck (male) rabbit's nipples are smaller and more discrete than a female's, so they can sometimes be hard to find... but they are still there.Male bunnies do not need to produce milk for babies. Why would they have nipples? Why indeed? And yet, many male mammals have them, so this is a legitimate question and not rhetorical, as you seem to have intended it.Just as with humans, male rabbits do in fact have nipples. but they're vestigial and hard to see.My male rabbit appears to lack nipples. Some other male mammals do not have nipples; mice, rats, and horses being some of the prominent examples. Some mammals, such as the platypus, have no nipples in either sex.My male rabbit does have nipples. They're hard to see, and I'd probably never have known about them, but then one of them became irritated and swollen and we had to see the vet. The vet showed me his other nipples for comparison: tiny, tiny flaps of skin. Even though lots of people say they don't have nipples (even vets - link below), male rabbits do have nipples.
