Your hamster died, get a new one.
Stinky green discharge in a hamster could indicate an infection or digestive issue. It's important to take your hamster to a veterinarian for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Keep your hamster clean and monitor its behavior for any other signs of illness.
it might be cancer, take him or her to the vet!!
You can try switching to a paper-based bedding that is less likely to stick to your hamster's fur. You can also groom your hamster regularly to remove any bedding that may be stuck. Make sure the bedding is not too dusty, as this can also stick to your hamster's fur.
How much like a lot? Is it constant? Well If it's just a little bit then I'm assuming that she's going through heat, but from the rectal system??? If a hamster is going through heat then the blood will be coming from the vagina, but if its coming from the rectal system (anus) then I would maybe suggest you see a hamster specialist, just go to your local petsmart and you just ask a lady could i please speak to your hamster specialist, I'm assuming that if it's coming from the rectal system that maybe it's something your hamster is eating? Do you feed it a lot of vegetables, fruits? Or too many hamster treats in a day? But you should go to a hamster food guide? Are you feeding it other stuff like junk food? Like chocolate, Ice cream, or any type of candy, these foods are toxic to hamsters. If I were you I'd stop feeding it any kind of food that is NOT on this list: http://www.hamsterland.com/default.asp?cat=foo&con=0 Or on this list: http://www.hamsterific.com/Nutrition.cfm (Copy and paste these sites into your URL bar, that should lead you to the site that I have suggested) ßest of luck From. echub

Yes, it'd be best for the new hamster who is coming in to the cage. And would be much more sanitary.
