yep and if you think they have got them take them to a vet but remember there is not much hope of them surviving separate them and get them sexed ( male or female)
if both male they will fight and if male and female they
are probably mateing if both female i dont know why
The mice have different alleles or something
Historically, starving prisoners have succesfully survived their harsh environment by eating mice. Arctic wolves survive the dearth of larger prey in the wintertime by eating voles, which are rodents, like mice. So, YES, you CAN eat mice.
Mice leave constant droppings as a means of marking their territory and communicating with other mice. It is a natural behavior for them and helps them navigate their environment. Additionally, mice have a high metabolism, so they are constantly eating and therefore constantly excreting waste.
Mice should be aware of nocturnal predators such as owls, foxes, and snakes that hunt during the night. These predators have keen senses and hunting instincts that make mice vulnerable when they are active during the dark.
Animals such as cats, birds of prey, snakes, and weasels are natural predators of mice and are known to eat them as part of their diet. Domesticated pets like dogs and ferrets also enjoy hunting and eating mice.
Of course, mice can talk to each other.
mice, among other things
Snakes have been observed eating mice. This is very well established, there is no question that snakes eat mice (among other things; they do not only eat mice).
Cats eating mice can pose risks such as contracting diseases or parasites from the mice, potential poisoning from ingesting rodenticides, and the possibility of injury from sharp bones or other indigestible parts of the mouse.
They sniff each other.
No, but if they are male mice they will fight for dominance
The mice have different alleles or something
it might be other mice. I have seen this happen before and its not uncommon.
Yes, only when they are out of food they will either eat each other and they will also eat plants. I am still thinking about them eating each other but they will eat plants if that is all they have to eat.
They eat the feces because the droppings have nutrients that the mouse needs that it didn't get the first time around. It's natural for them to eat the feces, so don't worry. It won't get sick and, like i said, it's good for them, so just let him at it. --Jackie
Yes, mice and rats are both rodents and are related to each other. They belong to the same family, Muridae, but are different species.
