The value of this coin, called a Walking Liberty half dollar, depends very much on its condition and whether it has a mint mark on the back at the 8:00 position near the edge.
With no mint mark, retail values are: Very worn - $22. Moderate wear - $31. Slight wear - $150. Nearly new - $450+
With an "S" mint mark - $18, $30, $300, $900
With a "D" - $25, $40, $400, $900

Retail prices as of 10/2008:
$60 in worn condition, $120 with moderate wear, $300-$400 if almost like new.

Retail is about $35 if worn, up to maybe $85 if almost uncirculated.
