The average for males(I believe) are 45-60,females are 35-50 lbs.
My 12 month old female is 38lbs. It seems there are many ppl who think that siberians should be huge. I used to think that as well, but they are 'medium' sized dogs, not large. They are often mistaken for Alaskan Malamutes; which are a bigger breed.
females to be 35-50 pounds & 20-22" at the withers, and males 45-60 pounds, 21 to 23½ inches at the withers.
where do you live? because we have one ..hes 2 yrs old.
Is this a recent post? I can't find a date anywhere. I have a male Siberian Husky that is just a year old that we would like to breed. If this is current, please email tina.fontenot@gmail.com.
It could be a urinary tract infection or something similar. Take the husky to the vet for diagnosis and treatment as soon as you can.
I have a three year old female Siberian Husky,, and I’ll tell you in a pulling match, tug of war, I put her against my Shepherd/mastiff 130lbs any day of the week, she wins almost every Time! So huskies are pretty strong dogs!
The Siberian husky usually produces a litter of 4-8 pups.
YES
Siberian huskys blow there coat 2 times a year and no they are not hypoallergenic.Same thing with labs it also sheds a lot. Both are not hypoallergenic.
You can use any kind of dog brush on a Siberian Husky. However I would recommend the FURminator, I have a 2 year old Husky and it works very well. You can buy one at Pet Smart, PetCo or find one at furminator.com.
probably not unless he's energetic
It varies from dog to dog. Huskies can take between one and three years to reach their adult size.
Well the Siberian husky has to be at least 1 year 1/2 and older to be in a sled race unless it is very very strong at 1. Well hope this works :)
at least once a year they shed their coats. native to siberia, the siberian husky was brought to alaska in 1909.Thesiberian husky was originated by the chukchi people of NE asia as a endurance sled dog.
