Bad switch or bad motor is most likely cause. Motors should have been recalled by Chevy. If you replace motor, replace with new one- do noy replace with a rebuilt motor.
The motor is located on the passenger side firewall.
yes
The wiper motor on a 1998 Chevy Venture is up under the vents next to the windshield. It is bolted to the firewall.
Needs to be readjusted.
Did you try moving the wipers arms a notch or two so when they start they are not at the bottom of the windshield but rather an inch or so above the bottom edge of the windshield to make them sweep farther to the outside?
warm... NOT HOT. water pour it over and slowly peel the wipers up from one side to the other. then pull the wipers back( up?) so they are not in contact with windshield when not driving
joint venture
I've got a better question, why is this question in the Chevy venture forum ?
On top of the engine, passenger side under the windshield.
How do you disable the ABS Control on a 1999 Venture?
This is pretty easy. The pump is located at the bottom of the windshield wiper reservoir. You have to take the tube off of the side of the motor and then disconnect the motor from the bottom of the pump.
There are a few reasons why a windshield will stop working. The fuse could be blown, the motor could have died, the wiring could be burnt, or it may not be getting enough electricity.
