First do the basics.Like checking your battery voltage,should be at least 12-12.5 volts key OFF,and check the alternator and check ur ground wires on the fender going to the subframe to the block.With out knowing wether it will not start is example 1 just clicking sound(starter drag) 2. turns over but will not start 3. turn key to start and does nothing. You need to be more specific as to what the truck is doing to better answer the issue.Please respond if any of the items above apply bc this will narrow down the issue.Could be the battery,alter,starter even a bad key cylinder (where the key is inserted) loose battery cables or ground wires corroded or loose etc.

Sounds like the ground for the dash is not good. Check the plug on the back of the instrument cluster is pluged in right. Good luck Jerry

To replace dash lights on a Mazda B 3000 first disconnect the battery and remove the dashboard. Unplug the cluster wiring and carefully remove the display. Replace the lights.

There is a short somewhere in the wiring.
There is a wire harness. The bulbs tend to go out.
Your dashboard lights suddenly not working is almost always your indication that your taillights are out. If the fuse for your taillights is blown and you replace it, your dash lights should be fine.
Start with the headlamp switch.
there are 2 relays in a black box underneath the dash on the right hand side pop the cover off it will reveal your 2 relays. one for dome lights other for running and dash lights
