Prophet Nabee Muhammed Salallahu Wasalaam
Allah has sent 125 000 (if there is a mistake, then please correct me, since I don't exactly remember it was 124 or 125 thousand in the hadith) prophets to mankind. The first prophet on the Earth was prophet Adam (peace be upon him) and the last prophet was prophet Muhammad PBUH. And 313 of them were rasools (prophets to whome came a new book and a new Shari'ah). E.g., prophets Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad (Peace be upon them all). Others were Nabee (prophets to who continued preaching with the book and the Shari'ah of the previous rasool). E.g., Prophet Joseph, Jonah, Solomon, and Ishmael.
There is a difference between a rasool and a nabee. A rasool will bring forth a new sharia. The first rasool in Islam was Nuh (Noah), and all the prophets after him only reminded the sharia Noah brought, till Ibrahim a.s (Abraham) guided people into a new one and etc. There are 5 rasools:Nuh a.s (Noah)Ibrahim a.s (Abraham)Musa a.s (Moses)Isa a.s (Jesus)Muhammad s.a.sNB: Sorry for the wrong answer, there are 5 great prophets in Islam, those are the ones i wrote, but actually nobody knows how many rasools has been sendt down to us.May Allah forgive me for my failuresANSWERDear Azadbek, the Messengers that you have written are called "ulul-Athm Messengers". They are the greatest messengers. But it is asked about Rasools. So in the Hadith it is said that "There were 124 000 messengers (in another hadith it is 224 000) and 313 of them were rasools". For now the only reference that I can give you is "Riyazussaliheen" by Imam Nawawi. You can get the exact reference from there...MAy Allah forgive us all...REPLY:Salam Alaykum sadi sm:What is the daleel (proof) that there is 313 rasools?Which hadeeth etc. Here is a reference:Imam Suyuti in his al-Hawi stated that al-Hakim reported that Abu Dharr asked the Prophet (s) how many Prophets and Messengers there were and the response was respectfully, 124,000 and 313 (another narration say 315).
One similarity between Christianity, Islam, and Confucianism is their emphasis on moral teachings and ethical conduct as a way to guide individuals in their interactions with others and achieve a harmonious society. These religions stress the importance of compassion, kindness, and respect for others in their teachings.
The hijra, or migration, was a significant event in Islamic history as it marked the beginning of the Islamic calendar and the establishment of the first Islamic state in Medina. It symbolizes the Prophet Muhammad's escape from persecution in Mecca and the subsequent growth of the Muslim community. The hijra also served as a turning point in the spread of Islam, as it allowed for the expansion of the faith and the development of Islamic teachings and principles.
