Besides of this question being horribly stated, the answer would either be one of the following:

An organ, Tissue, or System of Organs.

A system of organs is the most complex here, so i would think that to not be the answer.

Now, the question states "one or more organic functions" so i would believe this to be "Organ" since a tissue can only perform one particular function.

Above all, do not quote me.

Okay, i went through and checked the information. Organ is correct.

My source is a Biology book, common knowledge and thought.

animals such as sharks have diffrent levels of structres organization in their bodies. each cell in a multicellular organism does not perform every life function of the organism.

Why are specialized cells important to multi-cellular organisms?

Because multicellular organisms has many organs that perform functions. And specialized cells are important because they make the function for the cell.

Why do multicellular organisms generally live longer than unicellular orgamism?

A multicellular organism usually lives longer than a one cell organism. A one celled organism is limited to the life span of it's one cell. Different tissues in a multicellular organism perform different functions and new cells and tissues are added in these organisms by cell division hence life span in multicellular organisms is longer than unicellular organisms.

Either multicellular or unicellular organisms. By the way are you using Prentice Hall Biology California because many of your questions are from the book? prentice hall florida actually

Why are human beings classified as multicellular organisms?

In a multicellular organism each cell has IRS own job to do. Together all the cells work towards a functioning organism. In human community everybody works together and everyone has their own job. :)

Do multicellular organisms differ from unicellur organisms?

A colonial organism is a collection of one-celled organisms living together. The difference between a multicellular organism and a colonial organism is that individual organisms from a colony can, if separated, survive on their own, while cells from a multicellular life-form (e.g., cells from a brain) cannot. Multicellular organisms consist of differentiated cells that perform special tasks. The entire organism requires all the different types of cells to be present, and the individual cells can not survive without being in the organism

What is an organic system?

group of organs that interact together to perform 1 function

Why do multicellular organisms generally live longer than unicellular organisms?

A multicellular organism usually lives longer than a one-celled organism; one-celled organism is limited to the life span of a multicellular organism, however, is not limited to the life span of any one of it's cells
