No dog is "hypo-allergenic" but there are certain breeds that are low-shed and therefore better for allergy sufferers. Poodles are extremely low-shed, and Corgis shed a ton, so its hard to say what you would get out of mixing the two. If it truly a concern and you would like a mixed breed, I would suggest two low-shed dogs like the poodle and the bichon.
I have a corgi-poo. He sheds very little. If you really look at him you can tell he is a Welsh Corgi and a Poodle mix. He does however, have more of the fluffy fur as a poodle does. He requires more maintenance because of this. So it does just depend which gene he or she inherits.
No sorry they have a coat that sheds a very large amount. Hypo allergenic dogs are poodles, bichons, and other curly coated breeds.
They have hair instead of fur, they also do not shed.
They actually shed a lot and are not hypoallergenic.
Yes.
No dog is hypoallergenic because all dogs shed. There are dogs that are better for people with allergies tough such as the Shih Tzu, the Maltese, the poodle, and the Lhasa Apso.
No, these people are allergic to hypoallergenic dogs as much as they are to any other dogs. These dogs are only referred to as hypoallergenic because they hardly moult at all, and are hence less likely to trigger an allergic reaction.
if it's a pure bread Maltese, it should not shed because Maltese have no undercoat which is what makes most other dogs shed--they also have hair which makes them hypoallergenic. Are you sure you have a real Maltese? But something that would help is to comb him/her every day to get rid of some of the hair that would have gotten everywhere.
"Hypoallergenic dogs" are those that shed very little because it is thought that they produce and expose less dander, which is what causes allergies in humans. Examples include; Maltese, Poodle, Airedale Terrier, Schnauzer, and more. All dogs shed fur. Some dogs shed a lot and some not as much. It depends on the breed. But, Maltese/Shih-Tzu mixes don't shed much. You can't tell when they shed though, because their fur is so thin that it seems like nothing.
What are Maltese used for? Maltese Dogs are tiny (7 pounds or under) companion dogs.
No. They are from the hound group in which no dogs there are hypoallergenic.
