My little female Shih Zhu (4 yrs) ate 2 Ricola Cherry Honey cough drops. The only active ingredient is 2 mg Menthol per drop (no artificial sweetener. she seems fine but I don't know if she ate them 3 1/2 hrs ago or 1 hr ago since I was gone. Does anyone know for sure if menthol is harmful? She has no symptoms thus far, thank goodness, but I'd rather be cautious.
nope. But obviously if they taste bad, throw 'em away(:
