VERY ENERGETIC! I have a miniature poodle and he can't stay still for a secound! I tested how fast he was running in the backyard one day and he was running like 35-40 miles per hour! But they can be very calm at times. The standard poodles are the calmest because their so big!

∙ 13y agoIt depends, I had 2 toy poodles, I now have one. The one I currently have is very hyper, but is quite tame when you tell him to be. My other one, we had to give to a rescue because he bit somebody, He was very calm and didn't like to be bothered... when you did, he would snap. So it all depends, i would suggest getting one in the middle. I have to warn you though, If you do end up getting one, they need a lot of attention! So be ready to play, play, play!
