We are still using glasses today but we as mankind have improved the structure of glasses (e.g we added pads that sit on the bridge that connects one lends to the other, we use different material to construct the shape).

How can he now not wear any kind of glasses? also there are actual pictures with him wearing some glasses. i once found a picture of him with a lot of zoom and you can see perfectly the shadow of the contact lenses:) so i think it's YES!
