The reason why things float is that gravity addresses only the mass regardless the volume. so when a person dives deep, although he moves away the same volume, the buoyant force increases because the pressure increases, and sice the pressure affects the body from every where the buoyant force increase.

Pressure inside Earth increases much like pressure in the swimming pool increases.

When swimming under water pressure becomes greater?

Yes. The water pressure exerted on your body is greater than air pressure, and increases with depth.

Does taking a breath in affect your density?

Your volume increases, but your mass doesn't increase significantly. Try swimming: after inhaling, it is easy to float; after exhaling, you tend to sink.

Why does the driver wear a metalic cover while going into the sea?

Pressure = hdg Implies Pressure is Directly proportional to the depth. Which means that as we go down the sea into the depth, pressure increases and hence to protect oneself from this huge pressure he must wear a swimming suit. Or Sea will Crush his / her body lol

Does rubbing alcohol increases the temperature of a swimming pool?

What effect will swimming 10 lengths to do your pulse rate?

it will increase because you will have to breathe faster whilst swimming.

Where will you experience greater pressure swimming in the sea or swimming in the pool at the same depth?

if you are swimming at the same depth the pressure will be the same. Depth affects pressure directly proportionally. That is if you swim deeper the pressure will become greater. If you swim up the pressure will become less. The size of the body of water does not affect pressure. Think of it this way, the further down you swim the more your ears hurt. they hurt because of the increase in pressure.

The pressure level on your swimming pool is only 5?

It is not possible to have a pressure level on your swimming pool! However the pressure on the filter gage could run anywhere from 5# to 35#

What happens to your heart rate when you excercise?

Depending on how light or heavy exercise is will depend on the change that occurs. Typically during exercise heart rate will increase. This is in order to increase blood flow to the working muscles to allow for increased respiration - in order for the muscles to work efficiently. Therefore the more strenuous the exercise, the more your heart rate will increase. Blood pressure will also increase during exercise and again depends on intensity levels. During exercise such as running/cycling/swimming systolic pressure will increase progressively whereas diastolic pressure will increase only slightly. During weight lifting exercises, both systolic and diastolic pressures will rise. Obviously these effects will vary from person to person, depending on age, gender, exercise level, exercise intensity etc. etc.
