Theoretically, drinks would stay colder for a longer time if it is in a bottle. This is because bottles are insulators of heat, so they slow down the heat from reaching the liquid in it. As for cans, which are usually metal, they are conductors of heat. So heat penetrates easier to the liquid thus making the drink to loose its coldness faster (especially if you are holding the can) So my bet is that drinks would stay colder in a bottle.

∙ 13y agoCoca-Cola is actually colder in a can because when metal/tin is in anywhere that is cold or cool it makes the metal/tin cold very fast.
The answer above is a common erroneous way of thinking.
When you feel a metal object and a woolen pull over, the metal feels cool and the woolen pull over feels warm, they will have to have been in the same environment for a somewhat longer time. Both objects will have the same temperature then.
What you really feel is not the temperature, but the speed of energy leaving your body. The higher the speed, the colder it feels, at least when your body temperature is higher than the object.
The other way around, you can pick up a woolen pull over of 60ºC but not a metal object of 60ºC.
It's all about conduction.
So a bottle of Coke and an Aluminum can of Coke, both in the fridge for say 2 hours, will have the same temperature.
However your hand will warm up the Coke in the can more faster than the Coke in a plastic bottle, because the aluminum is a very good heat (read energy) conductor.
The Coke in the Aluminum can will cool down much faster in the fridge than the Coke in the plastic bottle does.
