That all depends. Russia excels in nuclear and radioactive material. If Russia and thee USA were to go to war, yes, Russia would be an absolute threat. Especially for civilian… bombing. America excels in air force and navy, and their navy holds the ginourmous Super-Carrier currently making their navy most likely the best in the world. North Korea holds an extremely powerful army. North Korea is also a huge threat to the US, but in a different way. The only other country that posts a small threat to the US, is England. England is the only other country in the world that has the legendary aircraft carriers. England's soldiers are also much better prepared and trained for battle than America's. England trains their soldiers very well. All in all its a matter of opinion. I personally think Russia is the biggest threat. However I doubt any pf these countries would go to war, because that would bring terrible consequences because of the raw power of these nations.
I would probably say that one in afganistahn.............................proberly.
Most of which go back to past wars and treaties signed after the wars are ended, if you look at where we have bases overseas you can look back at past wars the US has been inv…olved in and find the treaties or tariffs and see that within them it allows a US military to maintain or continue a presence within that country .
Number of US Military Bases There are 440 military bases in the continental United States according to a list of bases posted on the nps.gov website. Bases in Alaska (3 Arm…y and 3 Navy) and Hawaii (5 Army, 4 Navy & Marine Corps, and one Air Force) make the total 456 for the entire United States.
U.S. Naval Base Subic Bay was a major ship-repair, supply, and rest and recreation facility of the United States Navy located in Zambales, Philippines. It was the larges…t U.S. Navy installation in the Pacific and was the largest overseas military installation of the United States Armed Forces after Clark Air Base in Angeles City was closed in 1991.
There are many located all across the Nation, just about every State in the US has at least one Military base.
Because the president said that the military would supply war materials to other countries in exchange for military bases in England
The Oldest Active Military base in the United States in West Point in New York. However now it is called the United States Military Academy at West Point where they train cade…ts to become Officers in the American Branches, however it focuses on the Army. The United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point A Brief History of West PointWest Point's role in our nation's history dates back to the Revolutionary War, when both sides realized the strategic importance of the commanding plateau on the west bank of the Hudson River. General George Washington considered West Point to be the most important strategic position in America. Washington personally selected Thaddeus Kosciuszko, one of the heroes of Saratoga, to design the fortifications for West Point in l778, and Washington transferred his headquarters to West Point in l779. Continental soldiers built forts, batteries and redoubts and extended a l50-ton iron chain across the Hudson to control river traffic. Fortress West Point was never captured by the British, despite Benedict Arnold's treason. West Point is the oldest continuously occupied military post in America. (From the West Point Web Site)
No, to my knowledge, their are no foreign military bases within the US, but we DO have bases in Germany as well as many other countries. However, these other countries are not… annexed to the US. While there are no German military installations in the US, German Luftwaffe and Wehrmarkt do attend training in the US at times. Ft. Sill, the US Army Artillery Training School, trains troops and officers from many countries.
there is an air force base but it is not currently being used for combat, it is merely a presence.
No, the United Kingdom has no military bases in the US.
