Both of your parents are of African-American descent yet black people tell you you are not black because your skin is very light tan?

In the long run there is no one that can deny
that you are what you are and the colour
of your skin would have no effect on that.


If there are people that have a problem
with this then it is their problem not yours.

Also -- as found noted among the people born into
any grouping that consist of a lineage that contains
multiplicity of racial lineages (ex. Latino, Arab, etc.) --
a very wide variety of skin tones, colorings and hues
(as well as facial features and hair textures) are found
among the people who are born to parents who are
both members of the African-American (AA) Ethnic group.

This is one of the reasons that, in regards to this
particular Ethnic grouping of people, when the
word 'black' is used -- it is seen as being more
applicable to a socio-political "identity" than
it is to any sort of full racial ancestral lineage.

The 'African-American' (AA) ETHNIC group should
NOT be mistaken for being the same group as the
'Black American' (BA) RACE group nor should the
terms be used interchangeably or synonymously.

to those people who are KNOWN to be ...

most are of a multi-racial/tri-racial*
ancestral lineage (*consisting of
Black, Amerindian and White)

----- The BAs are a RACE group of
people who are of a mono-racial
'Black' ancestral lineage.


----- There are actually only 13 million AAs in
existence at all (and this includes those AAs who
are expatriates in locations all over the world).

----- There are more that 17 million BAS
found located in the United States alone.
