Yes. Any enlisted personnel with an 11 or 18 series MOS is eligible for the CIB, if they meet the criteria for it to be awarded to them.
No. You must actually hold an 11 series (Infantry) Primary MOS while in a combat zone to be awarded a CIB. Combat Engineers get awarded the CAB (Combat Action Badge) for instances of direct contact with the enemy. The only engineers eligible for the CIB are those who hold the 18C - Special Forces Engineer Sergeant - MOS; all Special Forces personnel, with the exception of medical personnel, are eligible for the CIB.
Anyone can wear a cib, which stands for Combat Infantryman Badge. However, the badge is typically awarded to soldiers in the U.S. Army who have served in an infantry or Special Forces role and have actively engaged in combat.
11c + 22c + 12 = 33c + 12 = 3(11c + 4) = 3 x (11c + 4)
The 21st century is totally different today. During the Viet war in the 20th century, men were put where they were needed; period! Thus tankers with an 11E MOS, mortarmen with their 11C MOS or Armored Reconnaissance men with their 11D MOS could and did recieve 11B infantryman CIBs "IF" they were assigned to a grunt unit and was under fire (in contact) in Vietnam with that unit. Those men didn't even have to have their MOSs changed, they could still have (maintain) their tankers, mortar, artillery, etc. MOS...but as long as they were in the field AS A GRUNT (infantryman) with a GRUNT unit (actually assigned to it)...then they earned a CIB. After the war men with a tanker, mortar, etc. MOS had to serve in those MOSs. But then again, there wasn't a war going on, so based "upon the needs of the service", the US Army could afford to award CIBs to ONLY infantrymen MOSs.
100 = 56 + 11c 44 = 11c 4 = c
Yes, and a lot of 11M soldiers got it in Operation Desert Storm. You must have an Infantry or Special Forces MOS, be assigned to an Infantry or Special Forces unit and engage in direct combat with the enemy to earn the CIB.
-11C = 12.2 degrees Fahrenheit.
CIB Bank was created in 1979.
No. To be awarded a CIB, you have to be Infantry at the time the award was received (although a lot of Cavalry could have been awarded the CIB, they ended up getting CABs due largely to internal politics of the Army, especially concerning Cav units which were attached to infantry brigades). Since you wouldn't be reclassing to infantry until after the award was made, you're still not eligible for a CIB.Former Marine Corps personnel who later join the Army and received the Combat Action Ribbon, however, are eligible to convert it to a CIB or CAB, depending on their MOS at the time it was awarded.
22c is the highest - 11c is the lowest.
BNP Paribas CIB's population is 17,000.
No. Up to now it is not registered in CIB.
