if the artwork on the box say DSI you can not play it on a Nintendo ds, but, there are only a handful of games that say this
No, the Nintendo DSi does not have a second slot to play GBA games
The only games you can play are games made for the Nintendo DS. All other games are not able to be played on the DSi.
What are you talking about? Pokemon games are played in Nintendo DS' or Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL. The games avalible are Pokemon Heartgold, Pokemon Soulsilver, Pokemon Pearl, and Pokemon Dimond, these games are played on the Nintendo DSi, DS, and Nintendo DSi XL. You can also play games online, Play on the official site, Pokemon.com.
This is a tough decision because a Sony PS3 has better graphics than a Nintendo Dsi and you can play games online with people and Nintendo Dsi you cant. But the Nintendo Dsi is a portable gaming system and it has a camera and you download the free web browser on Nintendo Dsi. My opinion is get the NintendoDsi. I'm not sure. I think I go for the PS3.If you have a Nintendo DSi you can't play gameboy advance games. so then just get ps3

DSi Ware games and other downloadable content The Nintendo DSi Shop is specific to the region for which the system was manufactured. For example, a Japanese system can download DSi Ware games and other software only from the Nintendo DSi Shop for the Japanese region, regardless of where the system is being played. Nintendo DSi exclusive game cards Nintendo DSi game cards that are only compatible with Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL (and not Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite) are region locked. This means game cards manufactured for the U.S. market would not work in a system made for another country. Nintendo DS / Nintendo DS Lite game cards Older Nintendo DS and DS Lite software is region-free, so you can play most of that software on a Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL from any region. It's possible, however, that future Nintendo DS software will incorporate region encoding. In these instances, these games would not work in a system made for another country. Yes, the Nintendo DSi XL can play all Nintendo DS games, except for Guitar Hero, which requires a slot-2 add-on device. The DSi and the XL do not have a slot-2.
if you mean downloadable games (DSIware), no. But if you are talking about physical games, there is no distinction between dsi games and ds games.
