if it's not too big
AND, if it's not metal. Read on the bottom of the pan; often it will say if it's microwave-safe.
Yes, All-Clad nonstick pans that are oven-safe can be used in the oven. However, it's essential to check the specific product information or the manufacturer's instructions to ensure that your particular pan is rated for oven use. Some nonstick pans have a temperature limit for oven use, so it's crucial not to exceed that temperature to avoid damaging the pan or compromising the nonstick coating.
If you are using a 2" deep cake pan you would need 13.5 cups of batter.
1/2 full
6 cups for one layer
1/2 way filled
Yes, but wax paper is better with cookies. The wax paper won't really fit into the cake pan well, unless you cut it exactly. Instead, it is better to use butter and a light coating of flour or a non-stick baking spray for the cake pan.
NO! that is very dangerous. Microwaves go through ceramic.
For example, if you fill a cake pan more than half full... the cake will rise higher than the pan. The only problem with that is when leveling the cake, you might have to take more off if the sides are not even and the good part is it gives it more height. I have never really had anything else go wrong by putting in too much, it is pretty much your own opinion.
Just fill each pan a little over halfway full so it will have plenty of room to rise
No its not safe... We should use only plastic or nonstick wares in microwave. Because If we put stainless steel wares in it then they go to warm and microwave interior can melt... So use only registered wares....
In the absence of a square pan AND a round pan (in which case you would cut the round in halves and go from there), I would say you'll have to cut it into the shape. Makes frosting it more difficult because the cake interior is crumby, so I'd recommend using a pastry bag to pipe icing onto the cut sides.
