Yes, A Liger is produced from a male lion and a female tiger, and a tigon is produced from a female lion and a male tiger. These two species lion and tiger can't breed in the wild. Although because a liger and a tigon are manmade, they cannot have babies.

Naturally - no. In the wild they live on different continents and would never get to meet.

But in artificial settings, like in zoos, sanctuaries, and questionable breeding programs it either happens, or is actually encouraged. Depending on which species is which parent, the offspring is either called tigons or ligers.

if you are refering to a cat as in a house cat, then i dont believe so because house cats and lions are members of different
