Hi everyone,
Energy, like a a question the same, can be transferred by Kinetic or potential energy, but the most common way is:
Energy is transferred by the movement of atoms,
Atoms that can insulate heat the best is the ones
that have atoms close together.
Atoms that are poor insulators have atoms that are
atoms far apart, or spaced out.
I hope this helps, everyone!
i've used this for my science fair project, and it got me 3rd place :D

Yes, energy can be transferred from one phase to another.
Yes. electric cables for instance transfers energy.
Energy can only be transferred and only from an object of a warm temperature to another object of an colder temperature.
It can be translated to potential energy, as roller coaster car rolls back up the slope , its kinetic energy is gathered as potential energy
If a moving object crashes into something, most of its kinetic energy will be converted to heat energy.
Yes. Would you like examples?
Heat/Thermal, Movement/kinetic, Nuclear, Sound
Thermal (Heat) Kinetic (Movement) Nuclear Sound
heat energy is transferred/converted into kinetic and sound energy. Kinetic is usefull as it turns the wings and that is its purpose. sound energy is wasted as you do not need this
Yes, kinetic energy can be transferred to another object. When we consider billards, we see this idea in action. The kinetic energy of a ball can be transferred to another ball.
when a material is heat up then the kinetic energy of the atoms of material is increased so, they became to vibrate with high kinetic energy the atoms of the material collide to each other so some of the kinetic energy of the higher kinetic energy atom is transferred to the atom having low kinetic energy to witch it collide.as atoms of material are closely packed therefore heat transfer from one atom to another and the material heat up.
Temperature is the average kinetic energy of atoms as they move in and out of a system and its surroundings. Heat is the kenetic energy that is transferred.
Kinetic energy, heat energy, static electric energy

When objects collide or touch, kinetic (mechanical) energy can be transferred.

Energy in firework is present in form chemical energy which will be converted into light and sound .and small part of energy is converted heat .then the remaining energy is converted into kinetic energy after explosion.
The surfaces of a brake pad.
Those energy that are not transferred to ATP loss as heat.
YES ... When a car is moving, it has kinetic energy. If you apply the brakes, the vehicle will slow down and thus loose some of that kinetic energy. The energy that was kinetic from the fast moving vehicle is transferred into heat energy in the braking mechanism (the rotor disks and pads.)
