You have to be 17 years of age and up with parental/guardian consent, be a Canadian citizen, have a good record of conduct with no outstanding legal obligations, and be most importantly, medically fit. For Reserve Force, be at least 16 years of age with parental/guardian consent. All requirements.

In 1968 when all services unified under the title Canadian Forces. Now, in August 2011, they are again named the Canadian Army.
This question doesn't make sense. Deported means made to leave the country. And that means the person was not a legal resident of Canada. You can only join the Canadian army if you are a citizen.
The army is for to protect the country the army's in. It's not for you, if you mean for you to join, there is certain requirements that needs to be met, like you never went to jail, or be a Canadian Citizen, etc.
