They actually do have a reason but they do not want to get into it with you. They are interested in getting it on with another or they are actually involved with someone else.

Without the help form the one that left. I'm sorry to say------ little to no chance. This person who left just clearly does not feel any remorse or pain of loss. This state in a human is protective. They have gone over the top. To protect themseleves of any wrong doing, If they even care of wrong doing. Don't take it personal. The weakness is in them not you.
