Transmission of HIV requires a substantial transfer of HIV infected bodily fluids. HIV does not survive long in a dry environment. Unless you wear the underwear as they are substantially wet with infected fluids AND you have open wounds that the fluids come in contact with, the likelihood of contracting HIV by wearing another's clothing is extremely remote.

∙ 13y agoThe simple answer is No. HIV needs to be transmitted by blood or genital fluids (i.e. semen, vaginal secretions). Unless that underwear is soaked in blood or semen, you will not get HIV. The small amount of vaginal secretion that the underwear picks up from the previous wearer is not enough fluid to transmit HIV on top of that fluid would need to enter your vagina.
