If you mean taking it to a recycling center i have to say.. HOW CAN YOU BE SO STUPID!?!?!?!. but if you mean making dried up playdough work again them..>i would just add a bit of water, warm it up, and work it into being soft again.

It is much safer to make your own playdoh. Simply typle into Google(or type it into blackle, if you are pro-enviorment) "how to make playdoh". The ingredients are commonly found in households. You can also make edible playdoh, then you don't have to worry about the enviorment at all. Plus, it's delicious.

You can if it's home made from flour, salt and oil (search for recipes).

Many commercial play-doh contain plastic though, so composting is not recommended unless you know its content.

Home-made play-doh also contains food coloring that is safe to eat and compost.

Little kids and dogs can rarely resist licking or eating play-doh, so home-made play-doh makes it safer for all usages, including composting.
